A. Terms of Service
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website
wecancy.munlish.co.uk and related services.
1.2 By registering as a job seeker or employer, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.3 Wecancy provides a platform for job seekers and employers but is not responsible for employment contracts, hiring decisions, or disputes arising between users.
1.4 Wecancy might act as a recruitment agency only where explicitly engaged to do so (see Section 10).
2. Eligibility
2.1 Users must be at least 18 years old.
2.2 Employers must be legally entitled to hire staff in the United Kingdom.
2.3 Job seekers must be legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom for UK-based roles.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure.
3.2 Information provided must be accurate, complete, and up to date.
3.3 Wecancy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse or breach.
4. Employer Responsibilities
4.1 Employers agree to:
a) Post accurate and lawful job adverts;
b) Comply with UK employment law, including the Equality Act 2010 (non-discrimination);
c) Handle applicant data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
5. Job Seeker Responsibilities
5.1 Job seekers agree to provide truthful and accurate CVs, profiles, and information and ensure they are legally entitled to work in the UK.
5.2 When a job seeker creates or uploads a profile or CV on Wecancy, certain professional information (including job title, skills, experience, qualifications, and employment preferences) may be made publicly viewable on the Wecancy website. This enables employers to identify suitable candidates for potential job opportunities.
5.3 Personal contact details, including full name, address, email address, and telephone number, will not be displayed publicly. These details will remain confidential and are only accessible to employers who have been granted access through the Wecancy platform.
5.4 By registering on Wecancy and uploading your profile or CV, you acknowledge and agree that your professional information may be displayed publicly as described in this section, and that registered employers may request to unlock and contact you regarding potential job opportunities.
5.5 Job seekers may manage their profile visibility settings or delete their profile at any time through their account settings.
6. Fees and Payments
6.1 Employers: A limited number of job postings are free. Additional postings and premium features require subscription fees.
6.2 Job seekers: Applying for jobs is free. Optional services (such as CV review, ATS optimisation, or featured listings) may require payment.
6.3 All fees will be clearly displayed before purchase.
7. Refunds and Service Disclaimer
7.1 All fees paid to Wecancy are non-refundable once the service has been made available, unless the service has not been delivered.
7.2 Payments are solely for access to the platform and services.
7.3 Wecancy does not guarantee that any job seeker will secure employment or that any employer will secure a candidate.
7.4 The outcome of using our services is not warranted.
8. Data Protection
8.1 Wecancy processes data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Personal data is used only for recruitment and professional development purposes.
8.3 Users may request a copy of their data or request deletion at any time, subject to legal obligations.
9. Liability
9.1 Wecancy provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
9.2 Wecancy does not guarantee employment or recruitment outcomes.
9.3 Wecancy is not liable for losses arising from user interactions, job postings, or employment outcomes.
9.4 Wecancy’s liability is limited to fees paid to us in the preceding 6 (six) months.
9.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
a) Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
b) Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
c) Any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Recruitment Agency Services
10.1 If Wecancy is engaged to act as a recruitment agency, it will comply with:
a) The Employment Agencies Act 1973; and
b) The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
10.2 Where Wecancy provides recruitment agency services, such services shall be subject to:
a) Separate terms and conditions provided to the client at the time of engagement; and
b) An engagement fee, which is payable in advance and is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the recruitment process.
10.3 In addition, Wecancy may require employers and/or job seekers to provide further documentation, including but not limited to proof of identity, right-to-work documents, qualifications, and references.
11. Termination
11.1 Users may delete their accounts at any time.
11.2 Wecancy may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, illegal activity, or breach of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

B. Privacy Policy

2.1 Job Seekers: Name, contact, email, CV, employment history, qualifications, preferences, payment details (for premium services).
2.2 Employers: Contact details, company profile, job postings, payment details.
2.3 Automatically: IP address, browser type, access times, cookies.
2.4 Wecancy does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
3. How We Use Your Data
3.1 To provide job board services (applications, postings, profiles).
3.2 To provide optional paid services (CV review, featured listings).
3.3 To communicate with users (account updates, notifications, marketing).
3.4 To comply with legal obligations when acting as a recruitment agency.
3.5 Wecancy do not sell personal data.
3.6 Certain professional profile information provided by job seekers (such as job titles, skills, and experience) may be made publicly viewable on our website to allow employers to identify potential candidates. Personal contact details will remain private and will only be shared with employers who have been granted access through our platform.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
4.1 Contract – to provide requested services.
4.2 Consent – for marketing and optional services.
4.3 Legal obligation – to comply with UK law.
4.4 Legitimate interest – for fraud prevention, service improvement, and security.
5. Data Sharing
5.1 With employers (when job seekers apply for roles).
5.2 With job seekers (when employers post roles).
5.3 With trusted service providers (payment processors, analytics providers).
5.4 With regulators or law enforcement as required.
5.5 If data is transferred outside the UK, safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) will be applied.
6. Data Retention
6.1 Account data is retained while the account remains active.
6.2 Upon deletion, data will be erased within 30 days unless legally required otherwise.
6.3 Recruitment agency compliance data is retained only as long as required by law.
7. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to:

10. Marketing
10.1 Essential service messages may be sent and cannot be opted out of.

11.2 Wecancy will comply with relevant UK employment agency laws.
