Job Description

We are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the food and beverage industry. We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated retail auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:
The Auditor will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of retail shops to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures. This role involves evaluating various aspects of the shop, including cleanliness, ingredient quality, employee hygiene, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and unannounced audit visits of retail shops to assess compliance with company standards and government food safety regulations.
  • Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
  • Evaluate the cleanliness and sanitation of the shop, including the preparation area, equipment, and employee hygiene practices to comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients used in the operation preparation.
  • Review shop stock handling, including storage and preparation procedures to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Monitor and report the maintenance and functionality of equipment and report any issues that may affect product quality or safety. Conduct follow-up when required.
  • Document inspection findings and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Train shop owners and staff on best practices for hygiene, safety, quality control, and operational procedures, ensuring they understand and can implement improvements identified during audits.
  • Follow up on previous audits to ensure corrective actions have been implemented.
  • Stay up-to-date with current health and safety regulations and industry trends related to bubble tea shops.
  • Respond to customer complaints, reply to health & safety related concerns, and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other inspectors and regulatory teams to ensure consistent enforcement of standards.
  • Collect samples and conduct quality control checks to identify product quality and ensure adherence to food safety, providing details on quality failures or faults.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in food science, hospitality, public health, or a related field is preferred.
  • Food Safety Hygiene Level 3 Certification is preferred
  • Proven experience in food inspection, quality control, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
